Andrew MacArthur, President
Prior to forming The Brooksville Company, Andrew MacArthur was a Managing Director at CWCapital Asset Management with oversight of acquisitions, asset management and property management. While at CWCapital, Mr. MacArthur oversaw the foreclosure, stabilization and sale of The Riverton and Peter Cooper Village/Stuyvvesant Town in one of the largest real estate transaction in US history. As part of that process, Mr MacArthur worked closely with elected officials to create structures that ensured long term affordability and stability for these historic communities. During his tenure at CWCapital, Mr. MacArthur oversaw the acquisition, stabilization and management of over 45,000 units of multifamily.

Prior to joining CWCapital, Mr. MacArthur was a Principal of The Dermot Company, a New York City based real estate investment, development and property management company focused on the multi-family sector. Mr. MacArthur oversaw all acquisitions, re-development, asset management and operations for a 4,000 unit urban rent stabilized portfolio located in New York City and a 6,000 unit garden-style portfolio located primarily in the southeast and western United States. He was also a Director at The Pacific Group, a hedge fund and private equity fund located in Hong Kong where he oversaw equity trades in real estate and was active in distressed and high yield private equity investments.
Andrew Kane, Managing Director, Asset Management
Prior to joining The Brooksville Company, Andrew Kane was a Vice President at CWCapital Asset Management where he oversaw approximately 14,000 units in CWCapital’s New York City portfolio, including Peter Cooper Village/Stuyvesant Town. He was responsible for financial, operational, legal and strategic decisions with the goal of optimizing operational efficiencies. He was also actively involved in media strategy and interactions with Local and State politicians and regulatory agencies.
Prior to CWCapital, Mr. Kane worked for the City of New York under Mayor Michael Bloomberg on economic development issues. Mr. Kane served as the Director of Strategic Planning for the New York City Department of Small Business Services where he focused on revitalizing commercial corridors, expanding business districts and providing assistance and support for small and medium sized businesses to open and grow.
Mr. Kane began his professional career at Goldman Sachs as an Equity Research Analyst and later joined Goldman Sachs’ Urban Investment Group. Mr. Kane graduated from Princeton University and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Kane is LEED AP O+M accredited.
Eric Magidson, Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining The Brooksville Company, Eric Magidson was a Vice President at CWCapital Asset Management where he was responsible for identifying, underwriting and managing the due diligence process for new investments and the disposition of CWCapital’s New York City assets, including Peter Cooper Village Stuyvesant Town.

Prior to joining CWCapital, Mr. Magidson worked at Gleacher & Company, a boutique investment bank, evaluating real estate and venture investments. Mr. Magidson was a Director of ClearPoint Funding, a third party mortgage originator and subsidiary of Gleacher. After restructuring the company, Mr. Magidson led the sale of ClearPoint to Homeword Residential, a subsidiary of Ocwen Financial.

Mr. Magidson began his career in investment banking covering financial institutions at Merrill Lynch, where he worked on numerous M&A, equity and debt transactions. Mr. Magidson graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University.
